We celebrate/congratulate a woman who is expecting her second child with two different men. Yet still unmarried.
It shows how we are dysfunctional as a society. We keep creating future problems today. Our value system is broken, thus we are broken too.
In the last year, 23,000 teenagers between the ages of 10-19 years old got pregnant in just Gauteng province. This to me is a new pandemic.
We intentionally bring children into our mess, they end up growing up without a “present, everyday involved father”, thus, they repeat the same cycle as mommy, daddy, gender violence etc.
Money doesn’t raise good kids, a stable home with both parents gives them a better chance to become good citizens and better fathers and mothers in future. Money is no substitute for a father’s love and family stability.
I will celebrate the child when she/he is born but not the mother. You have the right to do anything with your body, I also have the right to evaluate, analyze and voice my opinion on our discarded African family values.
It’s very unhealthy to raise children out of wedlock. Don’t make it socially or biblically fashionable; it will never be.
We must be better examples!
